Equipment Roster
The Locomotives, Passenger Cars, and Rolling Stock preserved by the Iron Horse Central is displayed on the spacious museum grounds, much of it under cover. Many of the most fragile pieces, including Superintendent’s Car 1989, DSS&A coach 221, and steam locomotive No. 4 are located within the en-closed display shed. Steam locomotive No. 1 and several of the wood ca-booses can been seen in the covered storage shed. Dynamometer No. 276 and the steel cabooses are located outdoors; steam locomotive No. 927 and the Duluth & Northeastern Rail Truck are displayed in Groningen Park.
